These Vedic Technologies include knowledge and its application in the areas of: agriculture, administration, government, education, health, architecture, art and music, and other Vedic knowledge according to the principles of the Maharishi Vedic Science and Technology. These practical and proven programs have been designed for personal enlightenment, improved indivual and societal health and well-being, social harmony and national invincibility, and world peace.

Our educational programmes include the Transcendental Meditation technique and the TM-Sidhi Programme. More than 600 scientific research studies have documented the beneficial effects of these easy-to-learn programmes.

NMVF is a nonprofit educational charitable organization.

Mr. Deepak Baskota is the Chairman of the Nepal Maharishi Vedic Foundation and former State Minister for Home Affairs, Government of Nepal, former Executive Chairman of the National Cooperative Federation of Nepal, former President of the Himalayan Orthodox Tea Producers Association and Chairperson of the Tea Development Alliance, advisor to the National Cooperative Bank Ltd., Member of National Parliament for the Panchthar District, in 1994.

The Vedic Tradition is maintained through Vedic Recitations and the Vedic Performances (Yagyas) as performed by the Vedic Pandits. These Vedic performances in Nepal and India are recognized by UNESCO as a significant part of the world’s cultural inheritance.  UNESCO has proclaimed the tradition of Vedic recitation as “a masterpiece of the oral and intangible heritage of humanity”.

(MVI)

Maharishi Vedic Institute—MVI was founded in 2015 to preserve and teach Sanskrit, the language of the Vedic literature. Sanskrit is unique because every Sanskrit word is lively on all levels: surface level, deeper level, and transcendental level.
